RON LUND MEMORIAL LOAN APPLICATION
RON LUND MEMORIAL REVOLVING EDUCATION LOAN Requirements
Must be a member of Markle Church of Christ.
Must be enrolled in a Church of Christ college or university, taking a minimum of 12 academic hours per semester (undergraduate). Post graduate scholarships must be decided case by case. Please click here to see the approved listing of schools.
Must be pursuing a degree in full time Christian service work or ministry.
Must make a formal application and provide 3 character references.
Maximum loan per year is $1000.
Maximum loans not to exceed $4000.
Must maintain a “B” equivalent grade point average to secure additional loans. An official copy of the student’s GPA will be required.
Loans shall be repaid upon graduation, separation, or falling below the minimum credit hours at the rate of 25% of the total loan or $500 per year (whichever is greater) at 0% interest.
All loan decisions will be made by designated members of the eldership and will be based on information submitted and the availability of funds.
Checks will be made out to the college or university.
Only one formal application is required. However, the committee must receive a formal request for further loan disbursements after the initial disbursement.
