Please bring your $10 with you when you get dropped off. Cash is preferable, but checks can be made out to "Markle Church of Christ" with "Bowling" in the memo line.

If you live in/near Bluffton and would like to be dropped off/picked up at EZ Bowl, just let Nick know.

Welcome Event | Incoming 6th Graders & Families

Going from Elementary to Middle School can be intimidating… for everyone involved. However, we want to see our kids and families transition into student ministry well! That’s why we host this “open house” style for new middle schoolers.

Current 5th graders (incoming 6th graders) and their families are invited to the Underground for an open house style ice cream social where they can get all the information they need to set up for middle school ministry at Markle Church of Christ.

This event is FREE and we would love if all students and at least one parent/guardian be present. We will start at 6 PM and end at 7 PM.

Families are welcome park at the Underground parking lot (west side of the building) and come in door 8.

We’re trying something new this year! To celebrate the high school graduating class of 2025, we’re going to be doing our senior sendoff at the beginning of summer (instead of the end). Don’t worry, they’ll still be around all summer… till they’re not!

All current high school students are invited to join us for the overnighter campout at the church starting Thursday May 22 at 7 PM. Students can be dropped off in the Underground. You will need to eat dinner before, as we will only have snack-y items at night.

Then, we will wake up Friday, have breakfast as a group and be done by noon on Friday.

Bring a camp chair, items needed to sleep in a tent, and a change of clothes for Friday morning.

THIS EVENT IS GOING TO BE A GREAT WAY TO KICKOFF SUMMER!

Starting today, all students will be promoted to their new grade.

Example, current 6th graders, will now be considered 7th graders, and current 10th graders will now be considered 11th graders.

Keep in mind, students in “The Sweet Spot” (current 5th and 8th graders) can be part of both Markle Kids (5th graders) summer calendar events and middle school and high school (current 8th graders) summer calendar events.

We will also recognize the class of 2025 during our 10:30 worship service at church.

This summer we’ll be poolin’ it up at the Lloyd’s swimming pool in Markle! All middle school students are welcome to get dropped off and hangout to beat the summer heat. Come for the whole time or just part of it.

We’ll have a pool, 9 square, some yard games, and more. You bring the swimmies and sunscreen!

Students can be picked up at 4 PM!

God created each of us with a set of unique gifts and talents. That’s why one of our core practices as a student ministry is using your gifts. To help put that practice into action, we will be partnering with Markle Health & Rehab just down the street to serve for one hour on Sunday mornings.

Also, we will be coming alongside of the students whose Kingdom Worker card this year was to spend time serving at a nursing home.

High school students can meet us there or if you want to walk/ride together, meet in room 206 at 9 AM!
