"M.C.C.D.N.A."

Deoxyribonucleic acid. Ever heard of it? It may have been a few years since you took a genetics course in high school or college but deoxyribonucleic acid, commonly referred to as D.N.A, is a molecular structure in your body that contains all the information necessary to grow, build, and maintain the various internal components that your body requires to operate efficiently and effectively. Your D.N.A. also makes you unique--nobody on the planet has the same D.N.A. Likewise, every church has a unique genetic makeup. So, what makes MCC unique? What makes us look and act the way we do? Well, it all comes down to our VISION and MISSION as a church--and the unique people that carry it out. In this series we explore the stuff our church is made of. #MCCDNA

WEEK 1: "OUR VISION"

Aaron McClary - October 8, 2017

The vision of Markle Church is "Developing lifelong followers of Jesus." That's what we're all about. If you cut us open, that's what we bleed. Its why we exist. Everything points back to Jesus. In this message we talk about why that matters and how we intend to carry out our vision in new ways during the coming months at MCC.

WEEK 2: "Loving the lost"

Aaron McClary - October 15, 2017

Our Mission is how we’re going to accomplish our Vision of "Developing lifelong followers of Jesus" and the first component of our Mission is "Loving the Lost." But what does that mean and how do we do it? How did Jesus love the lost? What's at stake if we don't? In this message we answer these questions and more!

WEEK 3: "making disciples"

Aaron McClary - October 22, 2017

Our Mission is how we’re going to accomplish our Vision of "Developing lifelong followers of Jesus" and the second component of our Mission is "Making Disciples." Contrary to popular opinion, our faith should not be private. Personal? Yes. Private? No. In this message we explore what it really means to follow Jesus and what faithful followers do in response to their time with Him.

WEEK 4: "serving others"

Aaron McClary - October 29, 2017

Our Mission is how we’re going to accomplish our Vision of "Developing lifelong followers of Jesus" and the third component of our Mission is "Serving Others." If we're truly going to follow Jesus, that's going to lead us to pursue a life of service...not status. In this message, we're challenged to consider three key truths the Bible reveals about serving others.
